To awaken your body and senses one needs proper nutrition, exercise and less stress. In March 2010 I reached a low point in health and strength and decided to make changes. I had a herniated disk, sciatica, pain shooting down my leg.

When an assistant helps me with a Japanese Straightening, I always give my assistant 30% of the total amount tipped, if there is a second assistant shampooing she/he gets 10%
The assistants also get paid by the hour between $8 to $10 per hour.
Peter Louis Salon Assistants earn better total daily tips now than 11 years ago when I only cut hair. When I cut hair I would get a 20% tip and my assistant would get $3 to $5 for the shampoo.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting and cutting a Japanese Comedian HARUNA KONDO. She came to the salon and filmed an episode for her show, Harisenbon.

I am listening to my current favorite song sing it back by Moloko and driving in my new 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited! I got rid of my BMW Z4 after 3 years it was fully dented. It is hard for a small car to survive in NYC! But I love convertibles, so the Jeep is my new favorite car for driving in NYC!

This new year is dedicated to reorganization and change. I am reviewing everything in my life to make it more effecient and effective. I am consolidating from three corporations down to one, changing my accountant ( It is important to have good advisors), consolidating all hairstylists to one salon (which will be remodeled and expanded), creating a distribution center and boutique for my web business. And Finally Focusing on Execution, making sure everyone has a great experience in the Peter Louis Salon. These are my goals for the new year!

After meeting Dr. Masaru Emoto, I decided to create some new products using his philosophy that beautiful words create beautiful life. Hence the birth of I Love You shampoo and Kiss Me deep conditioner!

Leesa and Laura (the nicest twins in the world) asked me to cut their hair exactly the same for their current project. Besides traveling, I really love to cut hair:-)

Today, I had a great time at the biggest party in the world in Zurich, Switzerland. In the morning the city is quite and clean; by noon the city is packed with a high energy crowd of about 800,000 people some of whom are dressed in sexy costumes, dancing to the music coming from the 30 floats in the parade and the three stages; by the evening the streets are filled with empty cans and bottles. The next day the city is sparkling clean. Enjoy the clip!

Life in New York City can be like a party that never ends. There is something going on everynight you just need get to know the right people. After work today, I met up with my friends at Nobu 57 . This restaurant has a great bar scene. During dinner one of my friends showed up and invited us to hangout at the "Rooftop" at Bed. At Bed, he introduced us to some new friends and they invited us to the Pink elephant.

I have been having fun in San Francisco the past two days learning about real estate. Robert Kiyosaki outlined the cycle of Real Estate.
1. Financial Disturbance - dot bomb, 9-11, war, etc.

3. Euphoria - overestimate future returns, no concern for fudamentals,fools rush in

One day I was sitting in the back of the class with my friend Jackie. When this student named Kristina shows up late. We hear a big commotion outside the classroom and then Kristina walks into the classroom wearing a completely shear dress(and G String). Prior to beauty school I had never been surrounded by so many women many of which were very beautiful, so you can understand when I told Jackie "how can I work like this, I can barely breathe". Kristina was and still is the wild party animal type.

Today I purchased some EBAY, GOOGLE and YAHOO Call Options. I plan to hold the Ebay Calls till the end of the year and sell the Google and Yahoo options next week. I don't recommend gambling instead of investing, but I guess I'm Bored. I usually make money when I'm Bored, so it's not a bad thing.

In the early nineties, I moved to Arizona for a year, after 6 months I had asthma. I needed to use an inhaler 3 times a day. I heard of alternative cures so I tried a Chiropractor in Arizona, it didn't work. I decided to move back to NYC after living in Arizona for a year. Six months later my Asthma was getting worse and my regular doctor wanted to put me on oral steroids. I chose not to be medicated. I hate to take medication; sometimes I feel it a Doctors way to cop out of finding the cause of your Dis-ease. Just take this drug.

Ms Lisa was italian and had a big boufant ms doreen was a heavyset jolly african american ms hazel was an older african american woman who would forget things ms carmen was latin and didn't like if you asked to many question ms maria was italian middle aged woman who could barely see but would still try to cut hair ms camelia was a book smart asian woman and a great teacher The director would help some students pass inexchange for sexual favors

Wanda was one of the students who would call me El Muerto because I was so white, so unTan. Whenever I would walk by her and her friends they would always say something that I didn't understand and then one girl would translate. "Hey Peter, Wanda said she would like to take care of you in the bathroom, you don't have to do anything in return." Uhhh, no thanks, I'm O'k... "Hey Peter, you look sexy today." Uhhh, Thanks..bye... "Que Pasa Pedro Que Pasa"... Wanda was a tall, strong woman with very long hair, I would not feel comfortable being alone with her.

Saving is the Key to Successful Investing

Here is an example from my own recent personal budget. Last month, as I sat down to write a check for the cable bill, I stopped short. I hadn't watched cable TV in months, so how much did I really need it? I called my cable company and cancelled the service and then subscribed to netflix, the online movie rental service. Savings: $100 a month ($120 for cable minus 20 for netflix ). Month in and month out.

One of my employees would always complain about her Ulcer, waking up with pain, not being able to drink or eat certain foods. Her Doctor recommended previset, an Upper Endoscopy then antibiotics.

My College Advisor(an ex Marine) told me that in order to achieve success you need to find a career you really enjoy, Something you could do 24hrs per day. He actually grabbed me by the neck and told me to graduate and go out in the real world and find yourself. Just do it, everything will work out.

During my lifetime I have met and observed many Doctors, some treated me and some treated my family for various aliments. Do they really know what they are talking about or are they just too busy and too focused on a specialty to really know what is going on in our bodies. Why can't they grasp the fact that the body works as a whole? Each organ is not working independently, it's all part of a system. Do the drug companies give them too many perks and freebies? Are they honestly recommending the right solutions when we are ill? Maybe, Maybe not.

Everyday we meet new interesting people some think we are fun and exciting some think we are dull and boring but what many people don't realize is that we all are reflections and amplifications of each others personality. If you are a positive person the people around you will feel it and become more postive. If you are negative, people will want to stay away from you. Some people dont believe in the ability of there own mind and they project that towards others.
